Get Flu Safe

It’s important that if you are in one of the following at-risk categories, that you  protect yourself, your family, friends and work colleagues, by having the flu vaccination as soon as possible:

  • pregnant women
  • children aged two and three
  • children aged two -18 with a long-term health condition
  • adults aged 65 or older
  • people with a serious medical condition, including diabetes, liver or kidney conditions
  • healthcare workers or carers
  • people living in a residential or nursing home

Flu jab clinics are now well underway in GP surgeries so if you haven’t already been invited for a free flu jab, contact your GP surgery to find out when they are holding clinics and make sure you look after yourself during the cold weather.

It’s quick, safe and free for those most at risk from the virus.
