WellMind app shortlisted in national awards

Our WellMind app has been shortlisted in the Innovation in Mental Health category at the 2015 Health Service Journal Awards. The WellMind app, which launched on World Mental Health Day last year, offers a wide range of advice, tips and tools to help people look after their mental health and wellbeing. Developed in partnership with staff and service users, the app has already received over 6000 downloads – a number that continues to grow.

Marsha Ingram, Director of People and Corporate Development, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in these prestigious healthcare awards. We are pleased that the app is proving to be a valuable source of information and support, and we hope that as a result of being shortlisted we’ll see even more people benefitting from it.”

WellMind is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android devices – simply search ‘WellMind’ in the App Store or Google Play.

The HSJ Awards recognise, on a national platform, the projects and initiatives that demonstrate healthcare excellence. By shining a spotlight on cutting-edge innovations and best practice, they promote high quality health care in the UK. The ceremony will be held on 18 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
