Wellbeing workshop for World Mental Health Day

The Trust are encouraging members of the public to attend a workshop around the five ways to wellbeing in celebration of World Mental Health Day. The event will be taking place on Wednesday 11 October at Dudley Library, St James’s Road, DY1 1HR at 1pm.

The theme for this year’s World Mental Health Day is mental health in the workplace and how employers and employees can better look after their mental wellbeing or that of their staff.

The free workshop will offer practical and helpful advice to attendees as well as exploring evidence-based techniques that can help to improve their mental wellbeing. Attendees will have the opportunity to find out how the key principles of the five ways to wellbeing – connect, be active, take notice, keep learning, give – can affect their day-to-day lives.
