Nominate your Mental Health Star

The Thrive Mental Health Commission Awards have been launched to celebrate the amazing work being done across the West Midlands to improve mental health and wellbeing across the region.

People across the West Midlands are being encouraged to nominate their ‘Mental Health Stars’ – the people that are making a difference in mental health, whether that’s a difference to one person or across a whole community. The awards are particularly calling for nominations recognising professionals who are going above and beyond in their practice to improve mental health and wellbeing, and delivering innovative services that are making a real impact on people’s lives. A Mental Health Star Award will be given in each locality of the West Midlands Combined Authority.

You can nominate anyone for a Mental Health Star Award. We want to celebrate the amazing people across the West Midlands who are making a real difference in mental health, whether it’s the friend/relative that helped you through a difficult period, carer or a mental health/social worker.

Nominations for the awards will close at 9am, Monday 18 December 2017.
