The Power of Peer Support

Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, alongside Dudley Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, are hosting a free event for service users that will explore the ‘Power of Peer Support’.

Peer support is the help and support that people with lived experience of a mental illness or a learning disability are able to give to one another. It is a very powerful tool that can support recovery.

Find out about how to get the most out of the support that’s on offer in Dudley and hear from people who have benefited from peer support. There will also be a chance to network with local organisations and lunch will be provided. Although we will be facilitating the event, we hope that it will be very much led by service users.
