New Non Executive Director joins Mental Health Trust Board – 07/12/11

Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Robin Gutteridge as Non-Executive Director of the Trust Board.

Dr Robin Gutteridge has considerable clinical experience which will enable her to support the visions and values of the trust.

Dr Gutteridge joined the Trust Board on December 1 and will be in term until 30 December 2015. She will receive remuneration of £6,096 per annum.

Robin currently works as a Consultant in Health and Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton. She was originally a Physiotherapist and is now an academic Chartered Psychologist. Outside her university work she practices as a counsellor and psychosexual therapist. She has previously fulfilled a Non-Executive Director role at NHS Walsall.

Dr Gutteridge is delighted to be joining the Trust. She said: “I was attracted to this Non Executive role because of the Trust’s reputation for providing high quality mental health services and the opportunity to move forward as a Foundation Trust. 

As a resident of the Dudley borough it’s very important to me that the health services I use are the best available. I hope my clinical and academic background will be a great addition to the Trust Board.

I’m excited to be involved in a Trust dedicated to meaningful service user and carer involvement and focused on recovery oriented services. I am delighted to have the opportunity to support the organisation and play a part in the development of the Trust.”
