Mental Health Trust Welcomes New Nurses – 12/03/13

Mental Health Nurses Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust are delighted to be able to announce the recruitment of 24 newly qualified nurses.

The nurses will work with Adults of Working Age and Older Adults mental health services. The induction of the additional posts will increase the service’s clinical capacity and skill as well as help to develop and grow the workforce.

Some of the newly qualified nurses have been supported throughout their University education by the Trust, and will now undertake a 12 month in-house developmental programme, in order for the Trust to give them the best support to do their jobs and deliver high quality services.

Wendy Pugh, Director of Operations and Nursing, for Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust said: “This is an important achievement for the Trust and its nursing workforce. It will allow us to continue to put Quality at the heart of our patient care.”
