Mental Health Forum and AGM

We are inviting the public to find out more about the relationship between physical and mental health at their our quarterly mental health forum, as well as reviewing our performance over the past year at our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The event, which is open to all, will be held on Friday 22 September, 10am – 2.30pm at The New Art Gallery, Walsall WS2 8LG.

The mental health forum entitled ‘Healthy Mind, Healthy You’ will look at how physical and mental health goes hand in hand through talks and presentations from members of staff, service users and Experts by Experience. There will also be workshops and information on therapeutic activities available to the public.

Following a free lunch, the AGM will give attendees the opportunity to hear about the Trust’s latest achievements and plans for the future, including information on the Transforming Care Together partnership work with Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Mark Axcell, Chief Executive, commented: “It’s an exciting time for our Trust and the local health economy, particularly as we work towards integrating physical and mental health and working collaboratively. Our AGM is a chance for us to share our achievements over the last twelve months and look forward to our plans for the future. Everyone is invited to come along to find out more about our Trust and put their questions to the Board and health professionals.”
