Join us for Mental Health Awareness Week!

We will be running a series of free events across Dudley to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week, running from 8–12 May.

This years’ Mental Health Awareness Week will focus on ‘surviving or thriving’ and to celebrate, the Trust will run events exploring the areas of the five ways to wellbeing, helping the public take care of their mental health and maintain their wellbeing:

Be active Tuesday 9 May

  • Mary Stevens Park for greenfit exercise session: 9:30am
  • Huntingtree Park for buggy walk: 9:15am
  • Netherton Park for body conditioning: 9:30am
  • Halesowen Leisure Centre for health check and circuit class (women only):12 – 2pm

Giving and keep learning Wednesday 10 May, DY1 Stafford Street

  • 10am – Workshop on volunteering with Dudley Council for Voluntary Services
  • 11am – iPads and craft activities
  • 12pm – Floristry and beauty workshop
  • 1pm – Free lunch

Take notice Thursday 11 May, Dudley Library

  • 1pm – 2:30pm: A free mindfulness session will be held to help attendees take notice of their surrounding
