Have your say on the future of the NHS

People who are keen to influence the future of the NHS in Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sandwell and Dudley are being encouraged to put their views forward. Increasingly, local people are becoming aware of the challenges faced by the NHS. But more importantly how those challenges are affecting their services.

The Government is planning to invest an extra £20bn a year in the NHS. The NHS has produced a Long Term Plan, setting out all the things it wants health providers to do better for people across the country. This includes: making it easier for people to access support closer to home, using more technology, doing more to help people stay well, and providing better support for people with long-term health conditions.

They will also be asked to share their ideas on how people can live healthier lives and what improvements they think could be made to ensure people access the right services at the right time. We would very much hope you could spend a little time in completing the surveys. One of the surveys is for self care and the other to support people with Cancer, Mental Health conditions, Heart and Lung conditions, Long Term conditions, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Dementia.
