Find out more about emotional wellbeing

We will be holding a series of drop-in events across the remainder of the year at several libraries within the Dudley borough.

The emotional health and wellbeing drop-ins are run by our Community Development Workers (CDWs) and will provide members of the public the opportunity to find out more information about improving their mental and overall wellbeing within a friendly, safe and comfortable environment.

The drop-ins are a chance for the local community to gain information from the CDW team, who will be on hand to signpost individuals and support them in contacting appropriate services and organisations.

No booking or appointment is necessary. These sessions will run on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 10 January, 1pm – 2:30pm, Dudley Library
  • Wednesday 15 February, 1pm – 2:30pm, Stourbridge Library
  • Thursday 2 March, 10am – 12pm, Halesowen Library
  • Thursday 30 March, 10am – 12pm, Brierley Hill Library

Iram Maan, part of the CDW team, said “We know that people are often too embarrassed or scared to talk to someone about how they are feeling, these drop-ins provide those people the opportunity to talk to us to get the help and support they need. We want to support the people of Dudley to live their lives and maintain their wellbeing.”
