CAMHS open days

Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust are inviting members of the public to come and find out more about their local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Staff at Canalside, Abbots Street, Bloxwich, Walsall, WS3 3AZ will open their doors on 3 May, 10am until 4pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to drop in throughout the day and find out about the range of services available to young people including eating disorders, ADHD/ASD, psychiatry, family therapy, psychology and speech and language therapy.

The event will also be replicated at their Dudley base at The Elms Centre, Slade Road, Halesowen, B63 2UR on 4 June, 10am until 4pm.

Jackie Alexander, CAMHS Pan Trust Manager, said: “We are excited to open our doors and showcase the wide range of mental health services available to children and young people. We hope that by holding these types of events it encourages young people to get the help they need.”

Both events are open to young people, families and professionals that work with children and young people. For more information, please contact susan.thomas@dwmh.nhs.uk in Dudley or marie.hodson@dwmh.nhs.uk in Walsall.
